Loch Gorm 2024.

Το καλύτερο Loch Gorm ήταν το 2014 και ήταν και Enomotarchis bottled and approved.

lagavulin-29-years-skies-of-feis-ile-768

The Feis Ile festival is coming up. Both Lagavulin and Caol Ila presented their festival bottlings. In the case of Lagavulin there are two releases:

Lagavulin 29 Years ‘Skies of Fèis Ìle’, finished in a heavily charred Amoroso hogshead (RRP £ 2500, 250 btl.)

Lagavulin 10 Years ‘Fèis Ìle’, an extra peated version matured in refill, heavily charred and first fill bourbon hogsheads to create more punch (RRP £ 175, 1800 btl.)

Caol Ila 13 Years ‘Feis Ile 2024’

caol-ila-13-years-feis-ile-2024-768x384.

The Caol Ila for the Islay festival is a 13 year-old. It was finished in Ruby Port French Oak (!) casks from the Douro valley. They say it’s a bold fusion of maritime flavours and Mediterranean notes. This comes at full strength 54.5% ABV with a RRP of £ 185 and a total of 1404 bottles.
